According to Pollstar’s Mid Year Business Analysis, Jay-Z and the Black Eyed Peas are the top grossing touring acts in the world, raking in tens or millions of dollars so far.
The Top 100 Tours list is based on data surrounding a variety of artists and venues’ ticket sales during the first six month’s of 2010.
As of now, The Black Eyed Peas have poured in $29.5 million, placing them at #6 on the chart, while Jay-Z is not far behind at #12, with $22.5 million earned so far.
the only Hip-Hop acts on the entire list are ranked higher than music legends such as Elton John, Billy Joel and Eric Clapton.
Other artists to make the list include Alicia Keys, who earned $11.7 million to take the #27th spot, while Mariah Carey has earned $9.1 million, placing her at #36 and not to mention Bon Jovi who has the #1 spot , by raking in $52 million dollars in the past six months.
